Obituary for Peter A. Oliverio Mr.

Mr. Peter A. Oliverio, age 91, of 312 Thomas Avenue, Nutter Fort, WV
passed away at 2:50 A.M. Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the Clarksburg
Nursing & Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. He was born
in Clarksburg, WV October 13, 1915 a son of the late Dominick Oliverio and
Rose Spadafore Oliverio.

Surviving are, his wife of sixty years, Grace A. Schirripa Oliverio, whom he
married April 12, 1947, one son and daughter-in-law, James E. & Brenda Oliverio,
Estero, FL, two daughters & a son-in-law, Rose & Les Mayse, Clarksburg, WV
and Sharon Terrion, Barberton, OH, one brother & sister-in-law, Joseph &
Filomina Oliverio, Clarksburg, WV, two sisters, Sara Romano, Chicago, IL
and Angie Guzzi, Clarksburg, WV, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren
and several nieces & nephews.

Mr. Oliverio was also preceded in death by three brothers & five sisters.

Mr. Oliverio was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
He served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II in Company B of
the 129th Ordnance Maintenance Battalion. He was also a member of the Meuse
Argonne Post # 573 of the V.F.W. in Clarksburg, He was the owner & operator of
Master Cleaners for over 22 years, retiring in 1980.

Friends may call at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main Street,
Clarksburg from 12:00 Noon till 8:00 P.M. on Monday. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on
Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. with the Reverend Father John S. Ledford
as Celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A Biblical Prayer
Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
