Robert L. “Bob” Booth Sr., 75, of Clarksburg, WV (Summit Park), passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018 at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. He was born at Brown on July 25, 1943, a son of the late Samuel and Ramona (Barker) Booth. Robert is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kathleen C. “Kathy” (Baxter) Booth.

In addition to his wife Bob is survived by one son, Bobby Booth and wife Deanna of Summit Park; five siblings: Cheryl Miller of Clarksburg, Melinda Mace (Ron), Bernida Harding, Roger Booth (Linda), and Samuel Booth (Joann) all of Akron, OH; 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra K. Friend, and one granddaughter, Jessica Jenkins.

Bob worked in Akron as an iron worker on construction jobs for many years and later worked as a diesel mechanic with Davis Petroleum where he retired. He loved fishing and hunting and trips to China Buffet with his family. Bob was very proud of his grandchildren especially and will be sadly missed.

Family and friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home 329 E. Main Street Clarksburg, WV, on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 9am until the funeral hour at 11am with Pastor Rick Owens presiding. In honoring Bob’s wishes cremation services will be provided after the services and private inurnment will take place at the Lost Creek Seventh Day Baptist Church Cemetery.
